Josef Grillmaier

Austria is a small but significant producer on the world stage but seems to struggle for distribution in the UK. It has a unique selling proposition in the form of Grüner Veltliner, which consistently gets good press and historically scores well in blind tastings against more mainstream varieties. It is a versatile grape successfully producing a variety of styles.
A recent addition to our list of suppliers, Josef works the the family's 20 hectare estate in Langenlois making a range of wines including several from the Grüner Veltliner variety.
