Domaine d'Ardhuy
During the 1947 Burgundy harvest, Gabriel d'Ardhuy met his future wife Eliane, daughter of a local grower.
His passion for the vineyards and wine would be the start of a beautiful adventure in two regions close to his heart : Burgundy and the Rhone Valley.
Today two of his seven daughters continue with the third generation of their family tradition.
All our current wines from Ardhuy are from the 2004 vintage. Recent improvements in the winery mean that we have not bought anything older. Still young and not yet a vintage raved about by the experts but, we feel, good value and the wines shipped are representative of the villages on their labels.
