Bodegas Orusco is located in Valdilecha, a village that is situated in a small valley on the South-East of the Autonomous Region of Madrid. The village is not too distant from the city of Madrid and the climate experienced has made this place an ideal location for the cultivation and growth of grapes for making wine, since the sixteenth century.
This family business was founded in 1896. The knowledge and experience of wine making has been passed from generation to generation combining tradition with new technology and now Bodegas Orusco produces up to 1,5 million litres of wine a year. The raw material is obtained from a few hectares of family vineyards and the purchase of grapes from bordering villages with similar quality land and characteristics.
Bodegas Orusco has been a member of the Denomination of Origin “Vinos de Madrid” since 1990, the year in which it was established, and since then its wines have received various awards.
Very limited production of 5100 individually numbered bottles. Big alcohol, depth, length and concentration and crying out to be drunk with a rare steak!
