Ubiquity is Sauvignon’s enemy with flavourless examples being bulk shipped into the UK from pretty much everywhere these days. With this wine it’s best to forget the grape variety and instead enjoy the terroir of Langenlois as you would a decent Pouilly Fumé with its story of the upper Loire Valley.
