Le Marche on the Eastern coast of Italy is not perhaps the most famous region for wine production but there are one or two famous products to come from there.

Tenuta Mattei make nice Verdicchios and even have one bottled in the typical amphora bottle. 

Vineyards are dotted all over the area around Arcevia and olive oil is also an important crop. Some of the vineyards are farmed organically.
